Insomnia World is in open beta: play and test freely until launch. At the official start on October 20, all beta characters, items and progress will be reset and everyone starts fresh.
Dusk
Everyone plays in the same valley at the same time. Meet at the Traveller’s Lodge, follow the golden quest trail into the forest, cross the river and run into other players on every path.
Climates & regions
Walk north from the Traveller’s Lodge and the year turns under your feet. Eight regions on a 2 km × 2 km valley climb from green summer meadows through a burning autumn heartland to the frozen ridges of the north. Seasons never jump at a border: every tree turns at its own pace, so the forest blends from green to gold to snow.
Green & goldenLv 1–15
Lush, saturated green with many shades between the trees, wildflowers in white, yellow, violet and pink across the meadows, and summer motes drifting in the light. Rocksplit Stream already shows the dry golden patches of late summer.
Amber & crimsonLv 15–24
Every tree takes its own colour — gold, amber, orange or crimson, reddest at the crown — and a third of the pines turn golden larch. Leaves fall around you and carpet the forest floor. Mist Hollows is a pale, colourless late autumn of ash, while the first snow already caps the high ridges of Amber Grove.
Snow & hoarfrostLv 24–40
Snow caps the pine tiers and the rocks, broadleaf trees stand in hoarfrost and drifts gather in the hollows with blue shadows. Roads turn to packed snow with banks and muddy wheel ruts, light snow falls and the snow glitters in the sun. Only seasoned heroes and full parties climb this far.

First watch
Play as a Human, Dwarf, Elf or Orc. Every class splits into two paths with their own skills and a final ultimate. Race changes how you look, never how strong you are.
Midnight
Mushroom folk and slimes near the Lodge, ghosts and bandit camps further out, trolls and golems on the high ridges — and five bosses waiting for a party.

Invite up to three companions, see their health at a glance and share experience and loot. Shields, heals and fire storms stack up when a real party fights side by side.
Deep night
Townsfolk need help: wolf packs on the north road, bandits in the hollows, a mist lord’s men in the grove. Every fallen monster can drop coins, potions and gear from Common to Legendary.
Bring a seal to Master Smith Torvald and push your weapon higher. The first steps are safe, the middle ones can slip back — and from +6 a failed attempt destroys the item.
Before dawn
There is no day/night switch and no setting for it. The valley’s clock is the real clock: everyone in the shared world sees the same hour, taken from the server, on Istanbul time (GMT+3, all year round). Log in at sunset and you will hunt in the golden hour.
